BACKGROUND –––––
Conagra Brands is a powerhouse staple in American supermarkets and households. Ranging from snacks like Slim Jim and Snack Pack to frozen meals like Birds Eye and Marie Callender’s, Conagra Brands is known for its highly profitable and growing consumer base.
Once COVID shutdowns forced the country to stay indoors, a macro trend of people cooking and preparing their food at home is now a permanent behavior shift post-2020. With more consumers eating in and looking for easy-to-prep meals, we needed a way for Conagra to really stand out amongst the top food brands.
ACTION –––––
Post-2020, social media has become a more dominant force in consumers’ lives than ever before. Working alongside creators and influencers, we inspired food lovers all across social with easy-to-make and indulgent recipes. We don't make ads––we instead leverage native signals already found on TikTok and Instagram.
I oversaw the art direction of the videos and provided feedback on the edits within the creative team. I’ve also compiled write-ups and shot lists with content managers and creative strategists to curate a monthly production schedule, creating 30+ pieces of unique content per month across 7 brands across 4 social channels (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and Conagra’s recipe website, Ready Set Eat).
This social media strategy increased Conagra’s total outreach, unlike anything the company has seen before. On Instagram alone, we reached a combined total of:
• TOTAL IMPRESSIONS AND POTENTIAL IMPRESSIONS ––––– 300 million +
• TOTAL ENGAGEMENT ––––– 1–2 million +
• TOTAL FOLLOWERS ––––– 283,000 +
